Manali for Honeymooners
Honeymoon destination plans to Manali can bring expectantly beautiful natural and picturesque scenery. it can add lush beauty to your travel moments. Located in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is a honeymoon paradise for newlywed couples after the hectic bustle of a wedding. Say I do, celebrate with family and friends, grab your packed bags and hop on a plane to Manali. Once there you can enjoy a walk hand in hand with your betrothed or some cozy moments in a room that offers breath-taking views from your window. Sounds Good? Well let me help make your planning a bit more hassle free.
Travel
Connected well to road networks Manali is located just 30 miles from the Bhuntar airport. You will drive through Kullu along clear blue water while your transportation is making its way down through the mountains and amazing landscapes. When you are settled in and ready for a road trip you can visit Delhi or Chandigarh too. After all a trip to India will not just be a weekend excursion.
Where will you stay?
Though there are a plenty of options available for all kinds of tourist my preference is The Snow Valley Resort. it is on the outskirts but not too far and it still offers an immensely beautiful, calm, and pleasurable environment. The views of the lush green thick pine forest can be seen from the room itself. It has a vast terrace area where you both can lounge, stare at each other and simply enjoy your morning coffee. If you want more luxury and don't mind increasing your budget, then you may consider Honeymoon Inn Resort, or get lost in the Himalaya at Solang Valley Resort.
What to do?
The best honeymoon breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel resorts you choose to stay in. So have food service added to your package. In the evening, head out to the Mall road and enjoy some roadside snacks. There they serve small ‘Gulab Jamun’ a sweet dish served hot.
Consider the Indian culture and begin your day with paying a visit to the Hadimba Devi Temple situated close to the Mall road. The temple lies in the middle of the thick green forest and is made of intricately carved wood. The place holds importance from the times of Mahabharata. The very moment you enter the area you can feel that calmness and holiness.
Situated 8 miles from Manali, Solang Valley covered with pines and deodar all over looks best when covered in snow. You are taken to the top via rope way from where you get to see some of the most breathtaking views. Also, you can go for one of the best paragliding experiences in India to swiftly enjoy the cool breeze while having a bird’s eye view of the valley.
Who wouldn’t want to spend some beautiful moments on their honeymoon with their adventurous partner at a height of Rohtang Pass? At 14000 ft in the air is 24 miles from Manali it attracts numerous tourists from the time that it is open. The pass remains closed in the months of October to April facing the heavy snowfall. If you want to pass through the snow walls as high as 25 ft. covering the roads on both sides then June is the perfect time to visit. Earlier you could even enjoy adventure sports in snow too but considering the environment the government has shifted it to Solang valley.
Love is an Adventure
Are you an adventurist? Manali has a very beautiful trek to offer you and your partner. I believe that trekking teaches you a lot about your companion and it would be a nice honeymoon experience. Trek offers majestic views and a serene environment. The trek is at the moderate level and takes 4-5 days to complete. You can easily book these types of adventures in Manali with your tour operators. They can pick you up and take you to Gulaba, the starting point of your trek. Then take your sweet time exploring all that is to offer. You get to see the green meadows and the starry night with millions of stars twinkling in the sky. This might end up to be the most romantic moment of your trip. You can also sit by and watch as the lake changes colors and moods, from clear blue at start of day to dark green at night.
Finally, you can not depart from Manali without a Hot Air Balloon ride. It’s a must experience activity for honeymooners. It will surely heighten your feelings of togetherness and what better way to conclude your trip than to enjoy some beautiful moments with your love high in the air? Whether you come to Manali for adventure or alone time you will find plenty of experiences for your scrap book and your memories.
