Grey, Yellow and Purple
One wouldn't normally think about putting the colors grey, yellow and purple together, but this combination is trendy and looks absolutely stunning! There are so many different ways to jazz up your celebration with this trio of color, that the possibilities are endless.
Aside from the bridesmaids wearing dresses in these colors, consider finding flowers in this color pallet to put in their hair. A current style is to wear flower wreaths made from small dried flowers or rosebuds on the head. This is a nice accent, but remember to keep their bouquets on the smaller side to avoid overpowering the look. Bouquets can be made of all pale yellow roses for the bride and large bundles of baby's breath for the bridesmaids. This look is natural and very simple, yet classy and current.
Match the boutonnieres for the groomsmen with the same flowers used in the head wreaths. A coordinating plaid bow tie using these three colors, looks great with a simple yellow rosebud and baby's breath boutonniere.
The wedding cake can have accents of baby's breath or the same flowers that are in the head wreaths. This will pull the entire floral look together in a simple, yet elegant manner.
Lighting for your event can make a huge impact on the appearance of your room. Ask the manager at the reception venue if they are able to coordinate the lighting to your color scheme. You may be pleasantly surprised that many places will offer this service. Chandeliers with purple and yellow lights throughout the event space will give your reception a magical feel, reminiscent of Cinderella's ball.
Tall vases filled with yellow roses and greenery, atop of a round mirror makes a dainty centerpiece for each table. Match table coverings and napkins in your chosen fabric. Cream colored tablecloths with a yellow undertone gives a clean and romantic feel.
